New growth with the National Forest Foundation
In line with our dedication to building more sustainable saunas, Clearlight has created a new partnership with The National Forest Foundation’s Sapling Program. As part of this initiative, we have pledged to positively impact the environment with every sauna purchase to reflect our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. For every Clearlight Infrared sauna purchase, we donate two trees to be planted with The National Forest Foundation. As our customers invest in their well-being, they also contribute to the growth and preservation of our planet’s vital forests. We believe in the power of collective action and its impact on creating a sustainable future, and together with The National Forest Foundation, we aim to make a meaningful difference in reforesting areas where it is needed most.

The National Forest Foundation stands as the foremost organization dedicated to fostering personal and profound connections with our National Forests, which serve as the focal point of America’s public lands. Acting on behalf of the American public, the NFF spearheads initiatives for forest conservation and advocates for responsible recreation. In 2022 alone, the NFF accomplished the impressive feat of planting 8 million trees, encompassing over 25 tree species and restoring more than 21,000 acres of forested land. This robust reforestation campaign persists in addressing critical reforestation needs across our National Forests, ensuring these landscapes’ vitality for future generations’ benefit. We at Clearlight® are excited to partner with The National Forest Foundation, and look forward to creating a healthier and more sustainable future.
Sauna wood sustainability
Many traditional American and African mahogany species have been overexploited, leading to depletion and environmental concerns. Our choice to use Okoume mahogany, sourced primarily from Central and West Africa, is harvested from sustainably managed forests, making it a more environmentally friendly option.
